Dr. Ancha began his medical education at Guntur Medical College in India where he trained in general surgery and endoscopy. In 1993, he began training with the University of New York Medical College in surgery and internal medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency program and became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1997.  He completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma during the summer of 2006.

Dr. Ancha joined Waco Gastroenterology in July, 2006 and his diverse training background makes him a strong addition to the group. He is proficient with EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP.  Dr. Ancha is also the only Waco physician performing wireless capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Ancha and his wife have two daughters.
